Students living in Coppell are eligible to attend Coppell ISD schools, except those residing in four subdivisions located in east Coppell that are served by Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD schools and one subdivision located in north Coppell that is served by Lewisville ISD schools.
As demonstrated by their Texas Educations Agency (TEA) accountability ratings and Texas Assessment of Academic Skills (TAKS) scores, Coppell public schools are among the best schools in the Dallas Fort Worth area. Eleven of these nineteen schools received exemplary accountability ratings, indicated below in bold, for 2006-2007 school year.
