 The Grapevine-Colleyville Independent School District currently operates eleven elementary schools, four middle schools, two high schools, and one special programs center. These eighteen schools are attended by approximately 13,800 students who live in Colleyville, Grapevine, Euless, and Hurst.
For the 2009-2010 school year, Grapevine-Colleyville ISD was rated recognized by the Texas Education Agency (TEA). Nine of its campuses received exemplary ratings, five received recognized ratings, three received academically acceptable ratings and one was not rated. The percentage of Grapevine-Colleyville ISD students passing the 2009-2010 Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (TAKS) was somewhat higher than for all Texas schools. All seventeen Grapevine-Colleyville ISD schools receiving annual accountability ratings from the TEA are attended by students living in the northwest Dallas suburbs profiled on this website.
