Keller Independent School District

The Keller Independent School District currently operates twenty-one elementary schools, five intermediate schools, six middle schools, four high schools and two alternative learning centers. These thirty-eight schools are attended by more than 28,000 students who live in Keller, Colleyville, Fort Worth, Haltom City, Hurst, North Richland Hills, Southlake, Watauga, and Westlake.

For the 2010-2011 school year, Keller ISD was rated academically acceptable by the Texas Education Agency (TEA). Eleven of its campuses received exemplary ratings, fifteen received recognized ratings, nine received academically acceptable ratings,one was rated academically unacceptable, and two were not rated. The percentage of Keller ISD students passing the 2010-2011 Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (TAKS) was significantly higher than for all Texas schools.

Thirteen Keller ISD schools are attended by students living in the northwest Dallas suburbs profiled on this website. As shown below, seven of these campuses were rated exemplary by the TEA based on their 2010-2011 school year performances, five received recognized ratings and one was rated academically acceptable.
