Carroll Independent School District

The Carroll Independent School District currently operates five elementary schools, three intermediate schools, two middle schools and two high schools. These eleven schools are attended by approximately 8,000 students who live in Southlake, Grapevine, and Westlake.

For the 2008-2009 school year, Carroll ISD was rated exemplary by the Texas Education Agency (TEA), one of only eighty-five school districts in the state to receive this rating. All eleven of its campuses received exemplary ratings. The percentage of Carroll ISD students passing the 2008-2009 Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (TAKS) was among the highest in the Texas.
