Students living in Westlake are eligible to attend Westlake Academy or either Carroll ISD or Keller ISD schools.
As demonstrated by their Texas Educations Agency (TEA) accountability ratings and Texas Assessment of Academic Skills (TAKS) scores, public schools attended by Westlake students are among the best schools in the Dallas Fort Worth area. Six of these ten schools received exemplary accountability ratings, indicated below in bold, for 2006-2007 school year.
